The implementation of definitions to increase the accuracy of
postulations in scientific research.
The researcher should be sensitive to the accurate use of meanings.
This sensitivity will be realised provided the researcher pays
particular attention to definitions and their scientific usage. In
respect of this usage or implementation, researchers are often
confronted with the following three problems:
to transform vagueness (obscurity) to clarity (lucidity);
to be able to observe the mutual relatedness of definitions which
are the outcome of various paradigmatic verbalizations; and
to transform definitions into criteria.
Suggestions are made for solutions to these problems.
